Project Description

Society, the Self, and Others

For any human being, living in solitude can quickly become unbearable suffering. But at the same time, living and dealing with others can also represent a good amount of conflict and negative emotions.

As far as we love other people, we can also hate them. Just in the same way, we can feel love and pride towards our own self, like we can feel self-hate and blame. It is easy to notice that most of the time, we are more empathetic and kinder with others when we are just happier about ourselves. But we are hating ourselves, we can easily hate others.

Is it possible to fulfill one’s dreams without hurting others? And is it possible to please others without being hurt? Family, colleagues, lovers, and friends, there are many social places where things can get troubled. There are a lot of our values and behaviors that are conditioned by our social circle, and it can become difficult to distinguish who we really are and what we really want, from what others or society expects from us.

Whether you would like to talk about your relationships, your work, your family, or your social life in general, we would love to listen to you and help you with our thoughts and insights.

“That’s been one of my mantras — focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex; you have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.”

“I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what’s next.”
